Donna Silberman, while his wife, Idette, held the Bible.
“I want
to thank my colleagues for putting their trust in me by choosing me for this
prestigious position,” Chairman Earl said. “I take this role seriously and I
promise I will work my hardest to serve the people of our great County.”
The Earl family
During
his first term as Chair, Earl represented the Legislature at countless
community events, and opened the board’s Chambers to welcome and recognize
residents for their outstanding contributions, and for additional celebrations
of Black History, Irish Heritage, Women’s History, Indian Heritage, and
Hispanic Heritage.
During
Earl’s tenure, the Legislature supported new contracts for Sheriff’s Deputies;
approved funding for nonprofit organizations providing vital health, social and
other services; and adopted the 2018 County Budget that makes it possible for
county government to serve our residents so well.
