Bro. Earl taking oath, administered by Deputy County Clerk
Donna Silberman, while his wife, Idette, held the Bible.
During
his first term as Chair, Earl represented the Legislature at countless
community events, and opened the board’s Chambers to welcome and recognize
residents for their outstanding contributions, and for additional celebrations
of Black History, Irish Heritage, Women’s History, Indian Heritage, and
Hispanic Heritage.
During
Earl’s tenure, the Legislature supported new contracts for Sheriff’s Deputies;
approved funding for nonprofit organizations providing vital health, social and
other services; and adopted the 2018 County Budget that makes it possible for
county government to serve our residents so well.
Bro. Earl, a
member of the legislature since 2010, is a former Health and Safety Director
for New York City Transport Workers Union Local 100 and a devoted member of the
First Baptist Church in Spring Valley. He is also a Life Member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity's Xi Lambda Lambda Chapter.
